Orico M.2 NVME to PCIe3.0 X4 Dual Slots Expansion Card

Pros:
- Works great with both a M2 SATA and M2 NVME Drive mounted at the same time.
- Good Speeds and enabled NVME M2 for a X79 ERA Motherboard
- Price ++

Cons:
- Packaging could be better as my items were loose inside the box.
- Documentation unclear as to whether it was the Dual or Single Slot option. This is the dual M2 Slot option. It is happily running with a M2 SSD and M2 NVME drive in each slot.

I purchased the Adaptor Card for an older X79 Chip set motherboard. The UEFI bios had no issues detecting the drives connected to the adaptor and my Windows Installation booted with no issues :)

Please note if you want to run a M2 SATA SSD on the M2 SATA slot you will need to run a SATA cable to one of your boards SATA ports.

Using it with unraid as a fast cache drive. Working great.
Picture listed is incorrect. Its only 1 NVME 4x drive. The 2nd is a m.2 SATA with a sata cable that plugs into the side of the card. Should of just brought the single oh well. Using it with unraid as a fast cache drive. Working great.

Windows disk management sees it but unable to initialize drive.
Transferred nvme to a different computer without using this expansion card and it works fine.
Maybe it will work for you, definitely didn't for me.

Wouldn't recommend. Added a single NVMe drive to this card (replacing my old single slot startech card) and my system has crashed often since. Wouldn't recommend. Wouldn't recommend. It should be clearer that this is NOT a dual NVMe card. One slot is NVMe, the other is SATA exclusively.
An NVMe drive is physically unable to fit in the top slot.
Further reading shows that one slot is M key and the other is B key, but it isn't anywhere on the box and should be clearly labelled.

Because my PC is a bit older (PCIe gen 2) I grabbed this along with a PCIe M.2 card. Really stoked with the boost in performance my machine got. Worth the cost. Great solution to add NVME SSD to older PCs without an NVME socket, using the PCIe socket. You'll need to do some homework to transfer your OS to this though. Purchased this product along with 500GB M.2 Kinston memory and a heat sink. Wasted an entire day trying to get it to work - without success. Tried a different PCIE slot (known to be working) - still no joy. Gave up and threw it in the bin. PC refuses to recognise it's existence anywhere (inc Device Manager & Drives Management).
