No problems got a 2m version of this to carry optical 5.1 audio from the Bluray player to the Z906 speaker system. Z906 comes up with the decode light for 5.1 and all speakers are a go. A similar 3m version carries the audio from the Sony TV to the Z906 on the second optical input.
