Camera works great, but the internal microphone leaves much to be desired, thankfully I have a headset mic, otherwise I would not have been able to use it fully. Bought this a few weeks ago and it is better than my laptop inbuilt camera, but I regret buying it because of the auto focus - which seems to be set on fixed on a distance about 1.5 to 2 metres away. Normally autofocus implies that it would focus on the subject in the middle of the shot. This one doesn't and means that if you are sitting at your laptop with the Promate perched on top the screen, you are out of focus and your background is fairly sharp. So, if you intend to use it while sitting on front of your device, suggest you look around. This one doesn't do the job, although the audio seems ok. Spending a lot of time in online meetings, this webcam has been invaluable. So much better than the inbuilt webcam on my laptop! Used this web cam regularly for the last 4 weeks for regular daily zoom meetings. Easy to install. Works well producing good sound for others with good picture resolution. I've had it for a month or two now, and have thrashed it - great in lockdown, plug & play, good image quality, the tripod has actually come in handy, mike is good and directional - the only annoying thing is it is widescreen and doesn't give a very high image - which is a tiny bit annoying in my online yoga classes, that said, I just put it up on a stool a bit further away and it was fine.
