No where lives up to the 180 battery life mark which Eufy claims. Battery drained 5% within a day. Its been about 2 weeks and am down to 40% at present. Basically boils down to the frequency and number of detections as this system does not support full time recording. Of course, having no detection would surely let it work up to possibly 4 or 5 months as they claim to advertise but then what's the point then. i found the only good thing about Eufy is it doesnt need subscription, but the performance is not great. used this for my side house, everytime it detects a person and starts recording, it will only get 2 second view of the person.

the app also has an issue with connection to homebase 3 failing quite often.

Being renters, we needed to get a decent security camera system that captured good quality footage wirelessly and without drilling holes. We also needed it to provide accessible archival of video without exploitative subscription models.

Everything about this brand of camera struck me as quality, even down to the packaging. The app works well and does everything we need it to. The AI recognition of faces living in our home is a nice feature. It's also good that events aren't spammed to our phones because of moving branches etc. The cameras appear to have good range through walls. Got this package to upgrade the current system Home Base 2, 2C Pro Cameras and Doorbell. The AI and expandable storage are good extra features of the HomeBase 3.

All devices work with the HomeBase 3, but setting up requires repairing of all existing devices to the new HB3.
