Really solid BD player, great features
This has been a great little Blu-ray player over the past few months. I've had success playing both DVD and Blu-ray discs from multiple regions. The stop video now, resume playback later functionality works better than any other player I've used.
There are a couple of things I think could be a little better. The build quality of both the player and the remote feels a bit cheap. Which surprised me, considering how much PB Tech sells these for. It's also worth noting that while the Blu-ray video quality is excellent, the DVD video quality is slightly worse compared to my older Sony DVD/BD players.

Lazer Blu-ray Player
I've only had time to use it as a DVD player and that went well.
Good purchase second time around
When we got this product home and plugged it in it made a really annoying high pitched noise which did not end. It played the DVD's well enough, but we needed to return the product and get a replacement. Happy to say that the second player has worked as it should without any annoying sounds.
Ideal for playing Blu-rays from other regions
Great price and plays All my non New Zealand bought, Zone A movies perfectly.
Note you do need to put in a code to change the region code. This is simply obtained after a quick search on the WWW.

Great value, works well.
Multi region player is very light and takes up little space, easy to set up and use, so far seems very reliable and functional.
Finally taking some pressure off our old DVD player and PS4
Wanted something that'd play everything and stop the PS4 being used so often. The playback is great and it does exactly that. Only problem I've had so far is it's quick to go into screensaver and then powersaver mode, but then loses the position and I haven't figured out if it has a resume playback memory yet. Otherwise a great little product.
good entry level unit at decent price
its not often you get good service and staff with good product knowledge these days .But the great service from technical staff, who set up the unit for me and we checked that everything worked before I took it home- I was very impressed!
Laser Blu-Ray player
An excellent product, even shows all my pictures from a USB! I recommend it. I have used it for 2 weeks now and not a glitch.
Thoroughly recommend
We were going nuts with our DVD player ejecting brand new DVDs, proclaiming them damaged, so followed the reviews to this beauty. Tiny and light, plays pretty much everything - and keeps trying several times when it hits a scratch rather than just spitting the disc out. Our whole collection is DVD, but I recommend the Blu-ray player rather than the DVD player by the same manufacturer as for some reason that doesn't work as well.
Works well on all different DVDs plus blue ray.
One point is that the main functions used on the remote could be a bit better positioned and larger buttons.
Plus PB are excellent with communication and prompt
delivery.
Overall this player is good value and I am a happy chappy.

DLNA

LAN Connectivity
A LAN (cat 5) connection is used to access content such as movies, photos or music locted on your home WiFi network via DLNA. Alternately you can also access additional online content for Blu Ray movies equipped with BDLive and MovieIQ. BD-Live 2.0 is a standard for Blu-ray players that utilizes your internet connection and allows you to view additional content such as alternate movie endings, movie take outs or other movie trailers. (note; you should check that the blu ray movie you have has a BD Live feature)
Inbuilt Media Player
The inbuilt Media Player allows you to play movies, music and photos easily from your USB, disk, hard drive or local network. Covering a wide range of file formats, it allows you to watch movies on your big TV, instead of your laptop or PC. DVD Upscaling
