The battery life on this isn't bad at all. Wonky install though, since it is a tighter fit in the compartment, it also has a dedicated USB micro slot which I felt a bit weird. Brought this exclusivly for the xbox one wireless controller, As said in the pakaging. When arived i tried switching to the new battery pack only to find out it only works with "Original Xbox One Controller" that comes with the xbox one. (not xbox one wireless controller for win 10/xbox one) I know this because i have both. One has a smaller curve than the WIN10 casing). So I got this and was stoked with it. Good little charger. Holds charge well and cord is nice and long. First issue I had is that it doesn't hold charge when you plug into the controller, only when you plug into the battery pack. Not a super big deal but would've been nice to know. Second thing is the charger port completely came out of the controller 3 months after purchase with very minimal use and when I tried to place it back in it slipped right into the pack now its floating around inside. Apparently its a "user" fault because that part is soldered on and it looks like wear n tear. Have asked them to inspect anyway. So I got this and was stoked with it. Good little charger. Aftermarket battery that is fairly priced. It seems to be able to charge independently from the controller but I am unsure if it charges from the controller charge port.
