I am happy with the performance of the Seagate 4TB USB drive so far; it runs quiet, is reasonably fast, doesn't get too hot under heavy use, and fits nicely behind the laptop.

The price was right too.

It complements and replaces a 6 year old LaCie 5TB USB drive that is still going, but was getting a bit noisy, indicating that the bearings bight be on their way out. and how quiet it is. Have used it to store emulator files and arcade builds with some large file
