Awesome internal hardrive for the money.

Great specs for the price and it comes with 5 years of warranty and typical WD reliability. Drive is quiet even under load, can't hear it over the sound of my processor fan so it's definitely quiet.

The drive doesn't come with mounting screws or a sata cable so remember to pick those up alongside your order.

A quick tip for beginners, if you want to use the full disk capacity without any partitioning, you need to convert the disk to a GPT Disk first. It's super easy and done under the disk management section. Awesome internal hardrive for the money.

read/write times are nothing to brag about but stability and performance is great. I have not done throughput tests with this drive (yet) but it does seem to perform how I have come to expect with Black Edition Drives. I have to say that this drive is not as heavy nor does it get anywhere near as hot as the last Black Edition drive (in that case it was a 4TB dive) which is great as I use it in a removeable drive bay.
