AKG K72 Wired Over Ear Headphones - Black

These headphones produce amazing sound quality for the price, having done quite a bit of research online these consistently ranked highly and I'm glad I went for them.

Only con would be the 3m lead so if you're wanting to use these on the move, in the gym or similar that might be a pain but for the office, commute or hidden under a jacket you're all good. Bought for use at work but with several lockdowns, these headphones lived (boxed, as new) in my drawers at the office, getting very little use. Just getting back into normality at the office recently and after setting these up, noticed only the Left channel was outputting sound. If I turned my head a certain way, I'd get stereo. Seems to be something up with the cable. Thinking "They're still practically new - surely under warranty" I rummaged through my inbox to reveal that, no, actually I bought them over 18 months ago... So even thought they are as-new, they are junk. When they worked, they sounded OK - an obvious major step down from the K702's but that was to be expected. There's a joke about a bricked item becoming an "expensive doorstop", but actually these things are so flimsy the door would obliterate them! Anyway, I'm annoyed I wasted a hundred bucks and maybe I'll think twice about AKG in future...

Only had the product for a month but! Good clarity and, you get really great high end and low end sound. Great for at home mixing and recording. I found the mid range to be a little bit flat but, for the price, it’s not something that would put me off buying another pair. Comfortable large ear pads and the head strap adjusts nicely. Only other critique is that the cord is fixed and a little bit long so there’s no chance of putting a shorter chord on changing it if it breaks. But again, the price reflects this. Overall it’s a good, affordable set of headphones for anyone starting out in at-home music production or recording. Only had the product for a month but! I bought these as the K92 were sold out everywhere. They’re good for their price and comfortable as they have massive ear cups that can fit over any ear. I use these for gaming on PC and they’re perfectly suitable and I can wear them comfortably for hours with no pain. However, it’s definitely worth paying the extra $20~ for the K92 instead for the better sound quality. I bought these as the K92 were sold out everywhere. They’re good for their price and comfortable as they have massive ear cups that can fit over any ear. The audio quality cannot be compared to the past headphones I have purchased. The audio levels are balanced and it provides the best experiences while listening to music, gaming etc.
One slight drawback is that the cup of the headphones are a bit shallow so it hurts my ears if I wear it for a long periods of time.

Other than that drawback, the quality is top-notch considering it only costs around 120 dollars!
