Features

In short, 204-pin small outline dual inline memory modules (SODIMMs) are the form factor used to provide DDR3 memory modules for notebook computers and other small form factor computing platforms.
To use DDR3 memory, your system must have both a 204-pin SODIMM slot and a chipset that supports DDR3 memory. A DDR3 SODIMM will not fit into DDR2 or DDR memory sockets.

SODIMMs are smaller and thinner than regular DIMMs, and the 204-pin SODIMM PCBs are always ~2.6 inches long and are usually around 1.18 inches high (though the heights can vary slightly). They consist of a number of memory components (usually black) that are attached to a printed circuit board (usually green). The number of memory components on a 204-pin SODIMM's printed circuit board (PCB) can vary, but the PCB will always have 102 pins on the front and the back both, for a total of 204 pins. The gold pins on the bottom of the SODIMM provide the connection between the memory module and the memory socket.

No issues - great RAM

Installed this into Dell Inspiron 3148 which only had 4 gb ram, and boy did it make a huge difference. The laptop used to struggle running multiple browser tabs, and photoshop, and navigating windows folders - now it loads them much faster and offers a smooth experience.

What can you say about RA

RAM is good, more RAM is great.

This RAM worked, so is it good RAM. I can't claim that it is great RAM because I only purchased this RAM to replace some old RAM which died, so I don't get the joy of having more RAM. But bad RAM is sad RAM, so new RAM is good RAM.

Vikings (starting to chant): RAM RAM RAM RAM...Lovely RAM! Wonderful RAM!

Crucial 8GB LAPTOP DDR3

We purchased the Crucial 8GB LAPTOP DDR3 to go into the bare bones Brix that we also purchased. Our computer has been set up for the last week now and we are happy with the purchases we have made.

This is actually ddr3L, crucial's own website isn't even clear on this.
Just put 2 of these in a qnap ts-451+ and running with 16TB, twice as much as the official maximum and $400 cheaper than using the qnap modules.
Very happy with this purchase.

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
