I bought this watch as a birthday gift for my daughter and she loves it. It has a lots great functions. Favorite feature is where's my phone. :)

Yes its Huawei but don't be put off, this is a great device. The hardware is excellent (best in price segment) and software is reasonable.

Pro:
- Battery life is very decent
- Built in GPS at this price point (less common with competing watches)
- Dead reckoning mode to retrace your steps back to the start of a hike if you get lost in the bush.
- Many workout modes to choose from
- Microphone AND speaker. You can take calls from your wrist which has proven to be far more useful than I anticipated. Good for anyone in a workshop with gloves or mucky hands, phone on bench or in overalls and you can answer and talk on the watch. - Sleep monitoring seems accurate enough but improvement could be made. Often thinks I'm in REM or light sleep when I am awake (other brands have the same issue)

- Supporting heath software isn't as complete or intuitive as Fitbit for example
- Music transfer is very slow and cumbersome. IF there was a way to do it via the charging cable (would need more than 2 pins) or faster bluetooth protocol it would be appreciated (probably same issue with competing smart watches)
- Too large for smaller wrists

Fitness app data can be pushed to other apps such as google Fit
Doesn't have wireless charging - you buy the PRO model for $200 more for that feature

Bought it on special,, at a little over $220 was worth the punt - works great, heart rate, stress, and sleep quality tracking are all very good - the look and performance is excellent (no slow response to use) and has extras like flashlight, and gps tracking of workout/walks etc - what surprised me was the speaker quality when using it to answer or make a cell call - and apparently the end recipient isn't able to determine I'm talking using the watch vs using my Samsung Android phone - extremely happy!! This watch isn't the best in regards to features, but what it does it does well. Activity tracking is good, sleep tracking is great with trusleep from the university of Shanghai. It is limited in customisation and doesn't pair activities with Strava, but overall it does the job and you only have to charge it every 10ish days. honestly a good piece of kit, and there are some nice aftermarket wrist bands out there ( I found a black stainless one online I have already installed to compliment the watch and give it a whole different look )

My main reason for picking this watch were A) several weeks of battery life when other watches need recharging after a day or two, and B) the surprisingly low priced.

The display is nice and bright, all kind of fitness tracking gadgets and it is a hand-free if you want to do the Dick Tracey thing. This watch is also fairly flat, compared to others.

I was concerned about the silicon wrist strap, but mine has not broken or split after wearing the watch daily for 18 months. Also batter life has not degraded.
