As my first smart watch the Huawei Watch GT 2 was a good purchase with a great range of features.

Very configurable with a wide range of watch faces to choose from.

It is able monitor my sleeping and monitor my exercise in the pool.

Stay away of this if you value ownership of your data. The hardware is great, but I was expecting a BASIC functionality from all sports watches to be there: BEING ABLE TO TAKE MY WORKOUTS INTO OTHER SERVICES. Huawei wants to own the data. You can only use their crappy Huawei Health service. No Strava, no Training Peaks, no Ride with GPS, nothing. All other brands do it, even if they have their own service. Garmin, Wahoo, Polar, Suunto, Fitbit, Bryton, Samsung, Amazfit, EVEN APPLE. It's ridiculous that you can't even download the workout file to your own computer. THERE'S NO WAY TO DO IT. I had fitness trackers from the two other obvious brands. The GT 2 is better than anything I had before, in any aspect. Battery life is more than 2 weeks, 2 GB storage for music files, is waterproof and takes all wristbands normal watched take. The display is fantastic, bright and good colours. Absolutely loving my purchase. Bought it as a birthday present for myself. You can download new watch faces and apply this to your watch, its amazing. I'm a lady and preferred something colorful and feminine and was able to find a face that suited me. Now i just need to get the bands to match :) Absolutely loving my purchase. After failing so many times with fitbit, this watch has far exceeded my expectations. The batter life is excellent even with a lot of use. It has so many features I hardly know what to use. Not only does it track, steps, HR, O2 levels, Stress and many other things. It plays music and even displays the time. Of course my favourite feature is fulfilling my childhood dream of being like Michael Knight from Knightrider and being able to talk via my watch, now if only I had the trans Am to go with it.
