Static can become a problem if you crank up the volume too much (the kind of volume where people hear you coming down the street) but make sure to have the Bluetooth volume on your phone all the way up so you don't need to up the car volume as much. I've been using this for about 2-3. Have had no problems with it. Surprising easy to set up, just plug in twist dial on radio and away you go. Bought this and plug it at first I was really confuse how to make bluetooth works even reading the instruction not very clear. But it was actually simple you match the FM number on your car and FM number on your Transmitter, Voila working well but make sure you find a vacant FM don't use FM that already have a channel on it.
