DEEPCOOL MULTI CORE X6 Support 15.6" Laptop, 4X Built in Fans, 4 aluminum panels with Vertical Airflow Design

I'd probably give this product a higher review if the fans just spun a bit faster. The breeze is very gentle even at max power, probably because they made it to be somewhat silent. I don't mind noise, I need cooling. I specifically went or this product because they don't advertise it as a low noise product. My laptop's own GPU fan blasts way harder despite being tiny. This is my first cooling pad, I'm unsure if my expectations are unreasonable (I was hoping for about 50% more cooling).

The cooling is... ok... but nothing spectacular. I got this because my CPU fan's bearings caved and I would like to use the laptop for at least small workloads on hot days while I wait for parts. I've detailed some stats below; keep in mind that these fans perfectly align with my heat sink, which is exposed via a mesh under the laptop (it's a gaming laptop, MSI Alpha 15). Benchmarks done on a 22 degrees C day.

**While in Power Saving mode**
[ Idling on the desktop with nothing running, duration 10 minutes ]
- Idle without cooling pad: 49.5 C
- Idle with cooling pad: 38.1 C

**While in High Performance mode**
[ High load in an emulator, duration 10 minutes ]
- High load without cooling pad: 82.5 C
- High load with cooling pad: 72 C

This Deepcool multicore is fantastic at keeping your laptop cool. As other reviews have mentioned, it takes the laptop's temperature down approximately 10 degrees (can go less or more at times though). As a gamer, it works wonders in cooling the laptop down when I'm playing resource-intensive games.

The convenience of it is great, it has an attached USB slot so when it's plugged into your computer, you can use the USB slot on the cooler for any USBs you want to attach to your computer. Works smoothly and isn't too loud, although there is some noise naturally.

The only reason I've not given it 5 out of 5 is I have had it for 1 and a half years, and it has just stopped working as refuses to receive power from the laptop. I did a test to see whether it was the laptop's issue, but it is a problem with the Deepcool unfortunately. And the warranty just ended darn it. Cheap for something that works great, but not super long term.

I didn't think this would do much, but this has cooled my laptop down by over 10 degrees when performing high CPU tasks. I would highly recommend getting on if you have an older laptop and need it to run cooler. Bought with laptop, so far have only used it a few times as the laptop keeps pretty cool on its own, but it also makes for a good base for the laptop to be on. This cooling pad does what it needs to do. Having the ability to control which fans are running helps to manage the noise levels (which aren't too bad under full steam).
I like the fact it's kinda no frills, no fancy lights etc.
