TP-Link TL-WN725N (N150) WiFi 4 Nano USB Wireless Adapter

I bought the wifi adapter a few weeks ago and been using it since then,this product is great but In my opinion it is a bit overpriced. You can get the same mbps speed from trade me for like $7 dollars. Other than that very nice, easy and convenient product. Very good, can watch 1080p video. Except, you can only do one thing at a time online due to its single band, and you have to put it in your usb 2.0 port, not 3.0. Very good, can watch 1080p video. The wifi device in my laptop died. I had three choices, put a cable in, replace the internal wifi device or buy this. I didn't want ugly cables going through my lounge to the modem/router and this was the cheapest alternative. It works great and hasn't missed a beat yet. The wifi device in my laptop died. It works amazing and is compact so looks good the only thing is is it’s only 5ghz won’t work on 2.5ghz but for most people that’s fine just something to realize. Bought after a ThinkPad 10 obstinately refused to find any Wifi networks. After lots of troubleshooting, re-installs of various versions of OS, and drivers I gave up and pulled the trigger on this wee adapter purchased from Christchurch store

Pros: Works right out of the box. No drivers to load, Win 10 recognized it immediately and all that was required was entering SSID and password. It's only 150 MBPS but still able to surf the web, video conference on Zoom or Microsoft Teams, and run Netflix so no speed problems there. No need to purchase the more expensive faster versions.

Cons: It sticks out 8 mm from the side of the unit so will get knocked about in a bag. A problem for the ThinkPad: the USB port is protected by a port cover that is tethered to the unit. It swings aside to allow the port to be used but if the adapter is to be left permanently in the slot there is a danger that sooner or later the port cover will part from the tablet.
