This psu is a good option if you are looking for a little extra wattage for your build. But a non modular power supply is usually a little harder to recommend. The psu will still work great, just as much as any contemporary’s, just a bit more of a hassle with cable management. Replacig my GPU to a gruntier model necessitated replacing my 500w power supply with a 700w one. This one was the same Manufacture and swapping the two over was an easy task.

this was purchased as an expansion to a bare metal TrueNAS Core server - primarily to add extra HDD capacity and cooling to a new case transfer. More than ample distribution on consumer Mboard and CPU and drives are running cooler as a result of adequate distribution. Non-modular but that's my preference for this machine - just something to be aware of if you want a modular kit.
