we have taken on some new software in our business and to get the best out of it we have issued our staff of automotive technicians tablets as an access point for service information and manuals etc for the vehicles they are working on .... due to the workshop environment we were understandably concerned as to how long the tablets would survive .
To mitigate this we two months ago purchased these tablet cases and fitted them to the tablets.

I wouldn't say the case is bullet proof,however they have proven to be a very robust protector for the devices ,to date they have proved to be resistant to everything and anything that has come their way in a busy workshop environment we have had drops (multiple) knocks, tablets falling over on benches , and a couple of fluid spills to boot and all the tablets are unscathed and perfectly functional ,one tablet even went for a ride on the roof of a car and survived falling off at about 30 kilometres per hour, that incident produced a scratch on the case as the only damage.
the case doesn't adversely affect functionality ,although it does add bulk and basically doubles the weight of the tablet , the handy stand and holding loop on the rear of the case is definitely a big help for what we are using them for and also helps to prevent accidental drops while the team are operating the tablets the team love that they dont have to worry about using the devices so much and to date we have had no bad reports from the team .When we purchase some more tablets to complete the rollout of the new tech to all the team we will definately be purchasing more of these cases .
In closing , if you have to operate a tablet somehow or somewhere where its likely to get dropped, knocked, smashed or splashed then this is probably what you need .
