Lenovo Smart Paper (SP101) 10.3" E-Ink Tablet

The Lenovo Smart Paper does the job and is user-friendly!
I looked into buying the Remarkable 2 paper-like table, but it did not have the minimum customer support that I like to have when purchasing a piece of equipment (if something went wrong I had to send it back to Europe, which is a pain, not knowing when/if get fixed).

So, I came across the Lenovo version of this paper-like tablet. It's been a game changer for me so far. I usually take a lot of notes, and the tablet allows to me do so seamlessly. I can also sync my notes to the cloud (Remarkable does not), create pdf, read on it (like in a kindly), and even dictate (voice) and transcribe them on the go. It is very light, thin, and easy to carry everywhere without the inconvenience that carrying a laptop can produce.
If you love writing or brainstorming on the go, this is the tool to have ;-)

Super clunky and laggy, couldn’t access the google drive cloud storage because google has blocked the Lenovo app. Spent a week looking up a solution only to find out that there is really no fix as they’ve not complied with googles security requirements. Naturally I returned it, this is not a consumer ready product! :( would not recommend. In less than 6 weeks the pen nib was twisting and moving while writing and it was bent. Help from lenovo comes from africa, help from PB Tech comes from Auckland... Don't expect a quick resolution even when it's in warranty... In Hind sight I WOULD NOT BUY.... original review follows. It is light and does what it says it will, a more comprehensive user manual would be advantageous but you figure things out eventually. It works very well for what I need it for. Great battery life and I love that I can record from it and listen back to confirm my notes.

I purchased this product hoping it would do the job instead of carrying round notebooks and scraps of paper. I am pleased to say it does things really well, it is like writing on a notepad and due to the technology, there is no interference when your hand is on the page, it just responds to the pen. When doing sketches, it is easy to rub out and error and then redo things by hand. It does get a little slow the more pages you have in each notebook but this is not a show-stopper. It appears strong, is light and easy to carry around. For the price I think it is a great investment.
