Gigabyte NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Eagle OC 12GB GDDR6X Graphics Card

I bought this because
- I didn't want to pull my 650w PSU out to replace it to allow for a bigger card
- I don't want to build an entirely new system right now
- I needed a replacement for a 1070Ti
Based on this criteria I'm giving it a 5/5. DLSS3 is demonic technology that gives me a free +30 FPS in Forza Horizon 5 on ultra settings with a B450m/5600X/16gb of crap RAM. I average 120-140 FPS in FH5 and ~100-110 in Age of Wonders 4. It's also quiet + power efficient. If you want efficiency, I don't think you can beat this card right now -- not with the 6800XT sold out everywhere. I bought this because

I was going to get the 4060 and a friend convinced me to spend more and buy this full sized card. So glad I did !
No issues running all latest games on ultra settings getting around 140-200fps @ 2k, and 65 fps on Starfield @ 2k resolution @ ultra settings, more tweaking gets you about 80-90fps.
Older games like Counterstrike etc, you looking at 300fps+ haha

It's a nice quiet card too, and only powers up the fans when full on gaming. One issue though, which is noted by others online, it seems one of the fans closest to the bracket makes a weird noise when deciding between going idle/half speed. So just a tip, if you experience the same issue.

I was expecting this card to be OK for the price range but after checking out some comparisons and reviews, I thought I'd jump in and hope it satisfies my Starfield needs. After running it on Ultra Rayracing @ Native 4K on Cyberpunk with not upscalling and hovering around the 80-90 GPS mark on the Benchmark run, and running at Atomic on Atomic Heart, @ Native 4K with Full Ray Tracing at in 140, 150 FPS, this thing hammers. No wonder so many reviewers say its a bit of a dark horse but with the $$$ and what you get out of it, one of the best buys! I would highly recommend! Significant improvement over the original RTX 3070's and even 3080's. Would recommend but be warned that a lot of BIOS online are currently infected with malware. Delivers on all it's promises and then some more. I could not be happier with this purchase. Upgraded from a GTX 1080 Ti and the jump up is phenomenal in every way, also uses 100 W less power than the 1080 Ti which is a bonus. I had to replace a new Powercolor Red Devil RX 6750 XT with coil whine and ended up with this. Quiet and used less power and only use 1 8pin cable, less cables in my SFF build (NR200).
