I've long waited for a good wifi controlable electrick socket. There are hardly any connectivity problems, once you have it installed. it took me a few attempts to get it connected, at first. This is great, and can be used for all sorts of things. I use it for when I go away on holiday to turn my pool pump on and off and also turn a lamp on and off in the lounge. I am using it to control a standard lamp in the lounge.

Works well, can set up a timer as well as manually operate it via the great app on my iPhone. Much easier than the wall timers that I previously used.

No option to control it when I am outside the house, but I am fine with that (scheduled timer still works).

Set up was a breeze (needs 2.5Ghz freq, but works with my Asus router which uses 2.5 & 5 Ghz).

I'ved tried two other devices this is similar and has a USB so I use that with a long cable to charge my phone and sit on the night stand. When I was working out of town I used it to switch a small room heater om/off and used the USB port for my phone. I have three of these units, the longest being for nearly 2 months. So far had no issues with using it. The app is easy to use and the plug feels smooth and super nice quality. The red light (for off) is not bright but can easily be seen, the blue light for on is quite bright. Would purchase from this brand again! So far had no issues with using it. The best thing I like about this smart switch is that the timer/routines work without wifi,,,easy to setup with the app,,I use all brilliant smart products linked with Amazon echo and am enjoying the versatility ,features and affordability of these products. I've only recently started to use these IoT devices, and i like this device for its simplicity of use. The usb port is a nice touch, and is useful specially since it is independent of the smart plug itself. Looking forward to using this more in the next few weeks.
