Unfortunately camera only 2 mp, which gives reasonable clarity, though wasn't aware that after 3 month trial expires you have to pay a monthly subscription to continue to use with full features, unsure if I would recommend this based on the subscription alone ,I have only had this camera about 2.5 weeks . Basic out of box install fairly easy once get past wifi connection. Takes longer to work through the options but that's just because there is so much functionality in these. Picture quality is superb, the remote access controls and notifications work well. No issues with the camera itself, will need longer to see if the battery lasts the claimed 5-6 months but dont think it will.

I'm very happy with this camera network as it doesn't need bulky items inside your home, simply the camera units themselves and an app on your phone.

Really simple to use and set up, no need for a base station. Connects wirelessly to the router and away you go.
The AI identifying people, vehicles and animals as well as miscellaneous motion is almost infallible, and the ability to filter out notifications by type is great.

only hiccups have been on using the geofencing (turn camera on when you leave function) - haven't got to the bottom of that yet. I'm pretty impressed with the resolution on these Arlo cameras. Connecting via WiFi was a little challenging, but we got there in the end.
