Easy to set up, easy to install, easy to configure, this system is great. The solar panel works perfectly with the camera and allows me to mount the camera up high. Absolutely no issues installing and connecting. Now looking for a second one for my other camera. My rating is based on what seems to be an exorbitant price for something that might cost a few dollars to make. Easy to set up, easy to install, easy to configure, this system is great. Setting expectations, it is not a replacement for your electric charger if a battery is close to going flat, and your milage may vary depending how much sunlight you get. I am using a third party gutter mount to keep it above my soffit.

My Arlo picked up a lot of general movement, mostly trees and vines swaying in the Wellington breeze, so it kept draining the battery on a weekly basis. The solar panel is nice looking and unobtrusive, and has kept me from having to constantly recharge the battery. I’ve had it only for a little while so the longer term effect on cycling the battery remains to be seen. But the solar panel itself is five-star, great piece of kit, even if it is quite pricey for such a tiny panel. Finally bought two of these when we bought two new Arlo cameras to add to our set up, should have done it years ago for the rest. So convenient not to have to change out the batteries every couple of months (high traffic area). Set up and cameras have been perpetually at 100% charge since. If you are a bit stuck with hard wiring your Arlo cams then the solar panel charger is the key to that solution!

Seems to keep my cameras charged enough
The installation is tricky though as the white bolt you have to turn makes the orientation hard.

Installed this with my Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight and since then it has never gone below 90% charge. Rain, cloud, hail, doesn't matter.

Really convenient way to keep these Arlo cameras charged without having to replace and charge batteries manually.
