Very happy with the CPU performance. You will need a decent CPU fan, as the supplied stock cooler is really only suited for light workloads. Even running 3 cores at 100%CPU was enough to send it over 90 degrees. Very happy with the CPU performance. Its a great cpu with i7 power. Does extremely well for most tasks. Only drawback is standard 12700 cost about $10 more and this F version doesnt really save much. Its a great cpu with i7 power. Works well for intended purposes. Maybe a bit overkill if just intending to game, but is great if you have some extra budget to spare over the 12600. One thing to note that I did not know before this was that 4.9Ghz is only for single core, and multicore boost only reaches about 4.5Ghz each. Works well for intended purposes.
