I'm 180cm tall and mid 90kgs and was worried that it would not do well on hills. So tried a Lime scooter on hills and was surprised it could do some hills - albeit slowly - which I struggled push biking up. That convinced me to get one of these, and it is more powerful than the Lime and got up the same hills I did on the lime, faster. There is enough foot space and the handlebar height good.

I do use the sports mode due to my size, for hills. Because of this, it will get through the battery quicker. But this is the reason I got the ES4 over the ES2.

It is heavy to carry around and awkward to trundle it when folded. I would not be going through countdown or pak and sav with it. You need to get a decent lock to deter those winning types from just picking it up and putting into their car or having a battery-operated disk grinder to cut through cheap locks.

Has worked out to be far cheaper than bus fare. However we had an issue with the first one with water damage after getting caught in a rain shower. Have had to purchase a waterproof cover for the screen. Recommend you do this immediately upon purchase. Despite that it is fast and efficient and saved me so much money in the long run. Almost has the same specs that was on my previous e-scooter, the Segway Ninebot E45. The only key difference is that the ES4 has only a 15% incline versus the 20% incline on the E45. Riding in Sport Mode will help address this issue if that's what you miss from the E45 model. Also you might notice that the riding board on the ES4 is noticeably smaller than that of the E45. The ES4 also does not come with a ring bell whereas it is included with the E45. Be sure to protect the control panel from getting wet as water damage is never covered under the warranty. This scooter is terrific. It is perfect for my daily commute through the central city from home to office and back again. The battery lasts much longer than my previous model, and the manufacture is more robust too. This scooter is terrific. Serious battery issues and control board eventually dies. Biggest problem is the secondary battery that is bolted to the stem and due to the solid tyres, the impact of the road bumps will loosen the battery pack and subsequently the pin contacts will start to loosen. This means the scooter controls comes up with error message as it cant see the battery. Meanwhile its still trying to connect which leads to internal arcing and eventually fries the control board. Got the scooter on sale. Good value for money for getting to and from work. Saves alot of money on gas! A nice way to breath in the fresh air before and after work. Very happy with purchase. Bought this for our son 7 days ago and he loves it.....everything about it is amazing....our son is only 7 n he was able to ride n control it on his first go....

We love using the app n tracking his rides etc

Delivery only took 4 days n we live rural so that was awesome service also ....
