Purchased Roborock on the recommendation that it is best for hard floors. It's a smart and quiet robot that cleans my whole apartment in 40 mins. Even detects cables and avoids them. We have a golden retriever and dark carpets, which resulted in the need to vacuum the high traffic areas a few times a week to ensure our carpet did not "grow" a second carpet. After getting the Roborock, we were amazed at the efficiency of this small vacuum. We've had this vacuum for just 6 weeks and gets tasked to clean at least every second day. The rubber rollers do an excellent job of picking up pet hair, and the mapping feature makes it super easy to just select the rooms the dog frequents. As our main goal was to reduce pet hair, we haven't tried the mopping feature yet on the few smaller tiled areas in the house, so can't judge the efficiency of that feature. The self-emptying base station is fairly loud when it empties the robot, and we had to manually unblock the duct used to empty the robot due to a larger piece of paper that got stuck in a bend after about 4 weeks of use. It is fairly pricey and there are cheaper options that I believe will do a similarly excellent job, but I wanted a robot vacuum where you can set no-go zones or virtual walls which works perfectly.
