I purchased this so I could plug my USB/3.5mm Seinheiser headphones in to a stereo/DJ mixer.
The headphones have an adaptor lead so it's predominantly USB but can unplug to a 3.5mm jack.

I've owned maybe 20 3.5mm to 6.3mm jacks in my life. None of them worked properly. This is the first one that ever did what it was supposed to. Buy one. And then buy another as a spare.
