JBL Wave 100TWS True Wireless In-Ear Headphones - Black

This review is on behalf - unfortunately the first pair of these bought one ear didn’t work, took them back and PB Tech were great they replaced straight away. Second pair have been working ok but now and then audio will stutter or cut out. Have known JBL to be a good brand but these earphones are not as good as what I expected. I bought these after my Skull Candy Dime 2 failed to connect / charge to the left air bud. These JBL earbuds are much more reliable to connect; they do occasionally cut out but I can live with it so far. I don't notice any significant increased or deep bass, but the sound is a bit better than the Skull Candy. Overall these are great earbuds for the price. They are okay. Somewhat bulkier than other pods and slip out easily for me personally no matter which earbud size I pick from the 3 options it comes with. I'm extremely impressed with the sound quality and bass however. Voices in podcasts sound incredible to me. The mono feature sometimes means you have to put one back in the case and take it out again to get the stereo mode working, and for me, there is no left or right channels. They are both 50/50. The sound quality and battery life on the earbuds is great, but the actual design I found to be quite annoying. Obviously the earbuds can fall out, if you drop them in the case they're quite likely to fall out, but if in your pocket they stay in. However, having them in your pocket, you'll find they collect quite a lot of dust and other materials which not only affects the top, but also gets on the area which goes into your ears. This is the thing I find most annoying. Overall, the quality of the buds is really good, but if you're planning to use them while out and about during the day like me, the functionality of them is not ideal.
