Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro True Wireless Noise Cancelling In-Ear Headphones - Graphite Black

In my 70's with a hearing impairment, I missed being able to listen to music with a rich sound.
Having used the Redmi Buds now for a few weeks I've found they've filled the gap, with a great base response, mid-range and highs.
On top of that, the ease of operation with the tapping of the device for functional changes put the icing on the cake for me.
The buds are easy to hold for arthritic fingers, easy to pop back in the case, and easy to pair with phones and tablets.
Would I buy them again? In a heartbeat.

The buds will not come out if you go for a run and they also do not go deep into your ear like a lot of other earphones. If you listen to your music at a high volume, this may be an issue for you. The ANC (Active Noice Cancelling) on these earphones are decent. They are not comparable to ANC systems on earphones from competitors offerings such as the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 or Sennheiser CX Plus but they do a great job nonetheless to blocking out noise. I have noticed that the ANC system on these earphones struggles to block out higher frequency audio but they do an excellent job blocking out regular background noise. These earphones also have wireless charging and allow you to pair them with 2 devices at the same time which works great! Overall, I highly recommend these earphones for anyone wanting a great pair of earphones that are packed with features that were once only available to higher-end offerings for an affordable price.

The quality of the case and a finish is also super clean and very aesthetic. Pairing was a breeze and got an app to control the ANC. Only gripe would be the ear tips. Sound is clear, sharp. Good volumen range.
The app on the phone works like a charm.
Nose cancelling is really good, transparent mode is also really good.

I use earbuds daily for up to 16 hours. I have been through multiple sets from JBL, Samsung, Jabra and Xiaomi. I don’t care about cost, I just want reliable ear buds which don’t lose synchronization, sync quickly and the audio can be turned on/off quickly. The relatively cheap Xiaomi Air Dots are my go to as the other brands constantly lose sync and have to be ‘managed’ via phone controls. Because of this, I was genuinely looking forward to the upgraded/premium version of Xiaomi Redmi buds.

What a disappointment. Syncing is fine, they connect easily and quickly. The issue is the controls or lack of. There is no tactile button to play/pause - tapping is hit or miss which gets old after a while. There is some type of sensor which attempts to detect if ear bud is actually in your ear or not. So will pause if you take it out and then play if you put it back in. Ok in theory but disaster in practice. Whatever they are using consistently misreads what you want to so you end up having to take out phone out to play/pause which gets old really quickly. E.g. doing shopping - go to checkout, so take out ear bud, get back to car and find it has kept playing. Put earbud back in – constant adjustment in ear to satisfy the software that they are ‘in’ and start playing. (Different ear shapes may have better luck.)

Sound quality seems fine but I just listen to podcasts. Didn’t notice the noise cancelling feature.

If you’re ok with controlling everything via phone then they’re fine otherwise not recommended. Gave them a run for two weeks and have gone back to the cheaper Xiaomi Airdots.

Bought this same model ~2 years ago, the right ear bud started fading out after 1.5 years, so I looked for a replacement. Feature wise they seem to still have the best options (for me) for the price point they are at so I bought them again.

I bought these during the mother day special for my mum and she loves them the volume is as good or even better than Airpods in my opinion for only half the price.
