Logitech MK850 Performance Wireless Desktop Keyboard & Mouse Combo

I have always used Logitech keyboards but after the last one will think twice before I purchase one again. I have had mine for less than a year and the A, C and E letters started to rub off. Contacted PB Tech and Logitech but this apparently is not covered under its warranty. So what's the point of buying an expensive keyboard, if the quality of the product's actual function ... typing is of poor quality. Went online and a quick search reveals this is an ongoing problem with Logitech keyboards going back a number of years. So I have bought a Microsoft keyboard- the quality of letters guaranteed to last the life of the keyboard. Today, I made a purchase of this combination set from PBtech, and I felt a sense of excitement and contentment with the results. The design is pleasant, although it didn't immediately appeal to me at first glance. However, I am gradually becoming more accustomed to it, and the typing experience is quiet.

However, there is one aspect that disappoints me: the middle button (Scroll wheel) is excessively loose. It often leads to unintentional scrolling beyond the desired content on the page, requiring me to scroll back to the intended spot. Nice to type on, the keys show any signs of wear unlike previous models and they are great to connect up to your tablet or phone for some quick typing.

Where to start...sucks for gaming thanks to Windows 10 being made across platform...expect hotkeys to suddenly leap into life as a gamer...

Logitech recently released a patch for this, run the firmware update tool (Google "SecureDFU 48")

Wireless communication works very well. Exactly what I wanted.
Mouse is great.
Keyboard keys are REALLY old school.
Deep movement and if you don't strike from directly on top, it wobbles.
Cannot believe they still make keyboards like this.

I have previously used a flat keyboard, but I find this one a lot more comfortable being able to rest on the soft wrist pad. The curved key base is taking me a bit to get used to but I feel that it will help me with good typing posture. The mouse is very comfortable in the hand and super smooth. Both items connected immediately when the Logitech dongle was inserted. They look professional and sleek on the desk. I'm happy with my purchase. I buy these a lot for work devices as they are comfortable and reliable to use.
I also like the unifying reciever as this allows me to keep the devices around for longer if users lose their dongles. I buy these a lot for work devices as they are comfortable and reliable to use.

Replaced my old one as I'd worn it out after a few years. I bought this combo to operate two computers connected to my TV. Wireless push button switching works a treat. No issues. Better design would be to have keyboard button switch both devises instead of having to switch both independently. Small issue. Good quality devises. Very happy. Quick to set up, quick to pair via bluetooth and Logitech flow to copy-paste between machines is straightforward. It's great when I work at home to be able to connect to my personal device and my work devices at the same time and easily toggle between them. Pricey, but highly recommended.
