Great entry KVM switch for the price.
I only use the Keyboard and Mouse ports though, so can't speak for the Monitor function.
The Keyboard and mouse switch instantly between my Laptop and Desktop with no noticable lag.
The only issue I had and the reason I've deducted a star is the usb cords are quite short. Something easily fixed with a couple cheap USB 3.0 extenders. Great entry KVM switch for the price.

The vga and USB cords should be a little longer as the do not give too much give for laptops who don't have their ports on one side.

What a cute machine! For a very small number of dollars I am now driving the same 16:9 VGA monitor, USB keyboard and USB mouse from two different PCs, and I flick between them in a second or two by toggling a button the size of a 10-cent piece. No longer do I have to fiddle about with two keyboards and two rodents.

In case you were wondering, it so happens that at the moment the two machines are running different versions of Windows (Vista and 7), and that one is 32-bit and the other 64-bit, and that the monitor settings are for different resolutions. I told the sales person I need to switch HDMI and for whatever reason, he sold me this, which USB and VGA. The switch is on a separate, long cable, it would be better on the actual unit, less clutter. This works fine with the old VGA technology, and there are still many monitors that have VGA inputs and PC's that have VGA outputs, but it is not what I needed. I also find that my mouse does not work on this switch. Disappointed. PB Tech. This unit is rubbish.
