Samsung Galaxy A52 (2021) 4G Dual SIM Smartphone - 8GB+128GB - Awesome Black

I've always had high end phones but have been going for mid range or second hand previously high end phones because most phones are good enough. This phone feels fast enough, the fingerprint sensor on the actual screen is really cool. I upgraded from a Galaxy s9+, the a52 feels faster better screen, similar size, a52 comes with a fast charger cable and a screen protector already on the phone so don't buy a screen protector or another fast charger. Did everything I would expect for a mid range phone. Upgraded from a Huawei, with the transfer of apps etc. went surprising well.

Connects easily with by other devices - very happy.

Not as expensive as the S20 or S21 but still high-quality phone with great screen size, resolution and performance. The black finish is matte and it looks awesome! This is definitely one of the best mid-range phones for 2021
Sufficient storage and generous 8GB RAM with a Snapdragon 720G chipset just gives the bang for your buck
Samsung's camera system is also top-notch, the speakers are also nice.
Can't really ask for wireless charging at this price range (maybe in a few years time it would be available in this range)

I have had this phone for about three weeks and cannot find a fault. I would recommend comparing this phone against similar priced phones to understand the real value of this model. my son has the A50, which seems a lot more intuitive. I would not recommend this phone. I bought this when we were not allowed in the store. I thought it was a metallic back, and it's not, it's really cheap-looking plastic. Perhaps more rugged but doesn't look good. Not that looks matter. functionality is more important. this phone has a lot of extremely annoying presets. it's very slow to react. It almost never recognises my face or my fingerprint and it always asks me to hold my finger down for longer. Previous to this phone I had a Huawei, which was super fast, super intuitive and recognised me all the time. I would not recommend this phone. its got good battery power, but im sure in time that will go. This phone is not my friend. The only Bonus, I dont get it mixed up with anyone elses phone in the house, as no one in their right mind would knowingly pick this colour. What was I thinking.

It's a pretty good phone but I'm really disappointed with the camera. For me, nothing beats the Huawei Pro cameras and this Samsung phone just cannot compete. The lag time when you zoom in or out with the A52 is just intolerable. Took the phone overseas and it would take several seconds for the camera to correctly focus. I could literally tap my fingers waiting for the camera to focus. With Huawei, I can adjust magnification by pinching the screen in or out till I have exactly the picture I want. With this phone, you can't do that. You have to choose the level of zoom. There are no increments in between. They updated the software. There is still a time lag in the camera focusing, but it's not as interminably long as it was when we were overseas. Since I mainly use my phone for brwosing and for the camera, I found this pourchase to be a huge disappointment.
