Samsung Galaxy A03 (2022) Dual SIM Smartphone - 4GB+64GB - Black

I bought this phone because I needed a new phone it looked good and worked good but when I went to plug it in the charging cable was a Micro USB Cable and not a USB-C. A good starter smart phone for my son. It runs the key programmes he requires well - video calling, email, Youtube, Diney+,MAPS, locator programmes through Samsung smarter things and Google MAPS, reasonable camera, and benefits from the now standard battery / battery life for the range. It has a physical dual sim and memory expansion slot which is great for travel and picture storage. When we upgrade in a couple of years we will be looking for a standard USB C rather than the mini on this phone, contactless payment (near field communication), fast charging (+/- wireless), OLED screen, 5G, the new wifi 6 - 7 and a good waterproof rating. (At this time it would cost an extra $300-400.) Moving to a new phone is easy with Google / Android migration tools. The Samsung android platform is great. (I wouldn't go back to an iPhone.) We bought from PBTech due to the relationship we have developed over the years and their price match policy.

Bought it for my son for his birthday. Within 30mins he was in love. It's so much bigger than his old phone and the screen is clearer with much better colour. It also has different camera modes. He plays a few online games and he hasn't whinged of glitching or lagging since he got it. I was tossing up between the A03 and A12. I was quite surprised when I got home with a model with (2022) in the name that it used a micro usb connector and not the current standard USB-C.

the storage is horrible it was at max by the time i added my apps (tiktok snapchat etc)
