I have had two of these now and the same thing has happened to both of them. At the bottom of the case there's a couple of tabs that have a cover on them. These seem to get damaged and the end result is that people can't hear you clearly. Take the phone out of the case and it's all fine again. I am getting a warranty replacement this time so will go for third time lucky. Last time, I had bought the case overseas and didn't have a receipt so couldn't get the warranty claim. Also on the first case, I used the mute switch alot as I was going to meetings, it fell off eventually. A case that you can't be heard and has a switch cover that's fallen off, is a bit questionable in this safety context. Each case I had for less than a year. I think that depending on you use for it, the case can be good. It's robust, drop and waterproof at the start of it's life. Just keep an eye on it !

I wanted a good sturdy case for my IPhone 8. I think these cases are really good ! Have accidentally dropped it a few times as u do and the case has done its job well ! Had it about a month ! Appreciated effort of PB tech to bring in a LifeProof case for Iphone 8 in a couple of days. Daughter was off to Nepal in 3 days and so needed a good quality phone case for the outdoors, We did not get the colour she wanted but Black was good enough given short notice..
