The Logitech Spotlight presentation remote was selected because the laser pointer used on more conventional presentation remotes is not visible when used with full-sized theatre screens which are brightly lit.

Because the "spotlight " is inserted into the video , and thus appears by default when projected on to the theatre screen by the main theatre projector, it is clearly visible.

Its worth noting however that the device is not plug and play and requires software to be installed on the computer being used so ensure you have it downloaded onto a dongle if presenting on someone else machine ready to be installed.

A fantastic remote for presenting. The deciding factor for me as well having four functions (normal press + long press) was the support for customising long press key combination. Need to carry out a PowerPoint Presentation and need to highlight parts of it . Using the Logitech remote was easy and it made the presentation easy to follow in detail. No issues downloading the software and using our clients projector was not an issue.
