minimum eye distance is too far apart so unable to focus, headset sits in the wrong position no matter how i adjust so image is often blurry because my eyes are not in centre of lenses, it doesn't sit on my head well and slips often no matter the adjustment, it does not make much of a seal around my face so i can see out the sides and it's distracting.

image resolution is nice at least, some screen door effect but if the other annoyances are not an issue for you i reckon it would be easy to stop noticing that.

basically if ur small, don't buy this; other wise buy it but don't expect much. i wouldn't pay more than $500 for this but that's probably more than pb's cost on the item, so that's probably an htc problem not theirs.
would give one star, but i probably should have looked up measurements before buying instead of assuming it was one size fits all, so i'll ignore the sizing and give it two stars.

If anyone's looking a good entry level/mid-tier headset to get into VR, I'd highly recommend the HTC VIVE. While this product is good and has pros and cons , If you want the full VR experience (which I recommend), I'd get the HTC Vive Cosmos Elite. Otherwise, it's an extremely good VR headset which has an amazing UI, support, and is easy to set up/use. There aren't a lot of cons and the ones that do exist, are minor or easily resolved.

PROS:
- Works extremely well with Steam VR so you can access your entire Steam library of games, in addition to the HTC VIVE store games
- Games and worlds are extremely immersive and smooth, it is so easy to forget that everything isn't real.
- You can access and control your entire desktop, from inside the VR which is pretty cool

CONS:
- While the tracking is decent 90% of the time, there are some 'dead-zones' where the tracking starts to really suck. This is usually with large overhead movements with your arms, and also due to lighting conditions. If you want the best tracking possible, buy the HTC VIVE model with full body tracking. Otherwise, the issue is resolved by just getting better lighting (like a work light).
- The headset lens can be pretty annoying to get right and if it isn't, everything becomes an eye-sore blurry/fuzzy. This is probably the most annoying issue with the headset, though I'm sure it's probably an issue that spans across all VR headsets as a sort of technological limitation.
- It can get a little warm playing in VR since the headset stuffs your head, but not nearly enough to warrant discomfort.
- Don't get this if you get motion sick easily.

NOTES:
If you're the type of person that REALLY wants to live in VR and completely immerse yourself inside games/worlds, I'd highly recommend you consider the HP Reverb H2. While it is significantly more pricey (compared to the HTC sale price), the fully body tracking and extremely high resolution is worth all the extra cost. Really. In hindsight I wish I'd had bought the H2, but the headset is an amazing piece of hardware by itself.

Also, do yourself a favour and look for sales on headsets. I bought this at 30% off.
