This is a great docking station, brilliant for my work from home set up!

I bought it since have quite a complex set up as I am contracting with multiple customers, with 2 monitors and 3 laptops. I constantly need to switch between laptops and managing all the cables was a nigh mare, also, I couldn't connect multiple screens to one laptop as my main screen is 4k and most docking stations can support only one 4k monitor.

I tried a cheaper docking station and it can run 2 standard monitors fine but as soon as I connect a 4k monitor, the second monitor would flicker, this is simply a docking station bandwidth limitation.

With this Targus docking station, everything magickly fits together:
1. I can run a 4k monitor + another standard monitor - now I can replace the 2nd monitor in the future
2. The cabling of all laptops became so neat and easy - just one cable is required when I switch laptops
3. One of the customers I work for provided me with old laptop without USB-C port, since this docking station supports display over USB-A everything is still brilliant, also, a power cable is provided for non USB-C laptops and bunch of plugs for all major laptop vendors, that was a great surprise as I missed that part before the purchase
4. The dock requires new drivers to be installed, this usually becomes a deal breaker as my customers don't allow any 3rd party drivers which weren't packaged by them and they wouldn't package driver for one or a few users, with this one it managed to download and install the drivers using Windows Updates

The bottom line, quite expensive product but for me absolutely worth it!

I used it on a couple of different computer and it worked well. great video and comes with a buch of connectors for legacy power (non usbc) My only complaint it that it does not have an "on" button for turning on the computer, it is not an issue if the laptop or computer is on or near your desk. Perfect for my new HP firefly laptop. It provides connections for both of my big screens, plus all of my usb connectors. Really happy with this. This works perfectly fine with my current setup 3 monitors! I just need to get a new router that can handle multiple LAN cables to fully complete my Work From Home Setup!
