TP-Link Deco M4 AC1200 Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5 Whole-Home Mesh System - 2 Pack

Bought this kit to get rid of the annoying extender network which was servicing our garage. Not only have these done that, they've greatly increased the speed and overall signal quality. The garage in question is also a separate building across the backyard from the house where the main Deco is!

App was very good and made adding these to my existing network a breeze. The only con with this whole thing would be that you have to make a TP-Link ID/Account to register the devices, but I suppose that won't bother most. Brilliant units, easy set up and compatibility. Good simple control with smartphone and great features that are so handy for keeping kids safe and off the internet at 3am! Does not allow some of the more complex routing for you super geeks tho. No web UI management, smartphone only. Brilliant units, easy set up and compatibility. Got these routers last week and they started off good but then turned to bad.
Kept getting connection issues with devices disconnecting and reconnecting a lot and some of my devices wouldn’t even connect to the closest router.
I plugged my modem in that i got with my provider and everything worked perfectly with no issues.
I got them as i wanted fast internet connection but they didn’t satisfy me much.

Easy to install, just download the app on your phone. The deco device has different coloured lights to tell you what its up to which is cool and helpful.
If you have any questions with installation the Deco live chat is really helpful. I just had one question and they answered quick and boom I now have wifi in the sleepout (which is about 10m from the house and an aluminium covered garage basically) so was quite doubtful this would work. But now I can play xbox and stream movies in the sleepout.

This device uses 5ghz and 2.4ghz which explains the range in comparison to any other router that is usually at 2.4ghz only.
