Ubiquiti UniFi Dream Router (UDR)

Has replaced a USG, Cloud Key, AP and switch at home. Cheaper than the UDM and unless you have a multi-gig connection it's a great one box solution that's as configurable as you want. Was surprised at how easy the process of swapping out all of the above boxes for the UDR was. Just download a copy of your network settings from your Cloud Key and upload to the UDR - it just worked.

I have used Ubiquiti networking products for several years and will continue to do so. I have found them to be reliable and perform as they should. This router is all that is needed to provide connectivity in a small to average sized home. Some networking knowledge is required to set it up but that knowledge is easy to obtain and apply. If you expect to simply plug and play this device is not for you however it is worth the effort if you wish to learn something new. Really nice router out of the box. it screams, has epic management and has already diagnosed a massive packet loss in the ISPs network, which they've come out and fixed.

Fantastic unit. Easy to setup, looks great. Running Protect (cameras and floodlights) plus network WAP and switch. Also easy to run PPPoE for ISP connection. Still working out if the UDM or UDR is a better option for my network. UDR doesn't do content filtering :( Fantastic unit. Easy to setup, looks great. It was a little tricky to get up and running due to average instructions and me having a double NAT setup. But once up and running it's a beautiful wee machine that does everything. Researched which Ubiquity router would provide me best value for money. This topped that and has been rock solid.
The UX isn't superfast to navigate, but the PoE, Wifi6 far outweighs that. Researched which Ubiquity router would provide me best value for money. This topped that and has been rock solid.

Got this connected to a lte modem in bridge mode. It’s quite noticeable how good the WiFi is on it. It’s a LR WiFi6 ap on top. Switches very easy from 5ghz to 2.4ghz. Using the WiFiman app can see coverage through the house. Plugged in my older acpro ap and being poe powered up easy as. Will be using it to setup different vlans for different devices soon.
