Print is great, its prints well our office documents and does a great job with pictures too.

Now the drawbacks:
we had 6 months of free ink vi HP Instant Ink. they sent us one box with 4 free cartridges. Which was great. then after the 6 months, you need to pay $7 a month to p print 50 pages! So basically, you buy a printer, but you're limited in your amount of printing ( no differences between black&white vs colour).

And if you cancel HP Instant Ink. Your printer becomes immediately unusable! You cannot print anymore unless you subscribe again.

HP is just ripping us off here!

Besides that, great service from PB Tech.

HP try to push you towards their pay services and all I wanted was a printer that would print. I had to log onto their software just to do printing. Not as intuitive to do what I wanted. Be careful with HP. The cartridge comes with the printer will be empty very soon and then you'll need to buy their ORIGINAL HP ink which costs an arm and a leg. You cannot use third party ink with HP. Another sh***t thing is even onky black empty, you'll need to replace all 4 as it says some stupid things related to dynamic mode and does not allow you to use the colors that come together with the printer with the new black cartridge. Totally rubbish and cost me lots of money. I have to spent nearly $300 to replace the ink. Cheaper to buy a new printer than replace the printer head that failed on our old printer. Easy to set up the new printer and to replace the old printer on our existing HP Instant Ink monthly subscription. Good price for a printer with actual separate colour cartridges - no more throwing away a whole cartridge just because one colour has run out!

This printer was good value for the money (actually cheaper than buying just the ink cartridges seperately!), and does everything I need from a printer/scanner. Would definitely recommend. I grabbed this for my home office as an upgrade. The setup was smoother than previous HP printers I have had. The quality for documents and photos is great and the speed is pretty good too. Had to quickly choose a replacement printer for my home office, after the old one failed. Plenty of choice (hard to identify the differences between them), and ended up selecting this one at a reasonably low price. So far (less than a month in) I have been pleased with the results. Relatively easy to set up, seems to be printing pages quickly, and print quality seems good. I enjoy using this printer as it is reliable and easy to use. I can use my phone using the App to print and this saves me time. I have used another HP printer and it has lasted me some years.
