Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen) - Anthracite Charcoal

Nice device that fits well into any Google centric smart home setup. The google assistant is great and is able to control all our smart devices quite well even turning on the TV. The touch screen is great and it has a greater range of features than the cheaper LG device (which is also good). Its even able to play music via Spotify via my Sonos Arc soundbeam, which given Sonos' crappy google assistant integration is an impressive feat! I bought it for home automation about a month ago, and to display a security camera (it is not in real time but 10 or so seconds behind which is irritating). It is also too limited and under googles control.

If I had to buy it again I would probably go for a tablet instead. I would also only buy smart devices that can operate locally and not in the cloud. This is a great buy, has definitely helped to streamline my home set up with everything from lights to routines and more.

If you are familiar with google home, adding a screen (albeit a small screen) actually makes it way better. Bought this to replace my alarm clock, does everything I want it too. Has no problems understanding what I say, and doesn’t have a camera in it like a lot of other smart clocks and things do.
