Philips TAB6305 140W 2.1 Channel Bluetooth Soundbar with Wireless subwoofer - HDMI ARC + Optical + 3.5mm + Bluetooth

Very happy with this. I bought it on special, for a 40 inch Samsung in a small living room. I connected it with an optical cable and it is more than I had hoped for.
Great sound quality across the range. Movies. Music and speech all sound great.
Subwoofer pairs from across the room.
Overall, a vast improvement on what I had before.
Oh! And yes, despite what one reviewer says, you can control the bass from the remote control. Two different ways actually: There are three eq settings 1 to 3. 1 engages the subwoofer the most, then 2 and 3 progressively less. Also, you can control the volume of the subwoofer independently. Great product, absolutely no issues with it, however it took 2.5 weeks to arrive as it sat at the courier forgotten. PB tech were "unable to assist" as it had already been passed to the courier, maybe they should use more responsible/efficient service providers. I have Philips 55” TV, so I think this soundbar should be compatible with it. The only thing you need to care is with the HDMI ARC, plug into that HDMI port, ensure your Tv output using the soundbar. Then all the way send it out directly.
There is one thing that I don’t know it’s the problem on my TV or what issue. There is a lip sync issue. You can see the sound could be slower or faster than the screen shows, especially when you watch the movies online or the TV drama. Took it back to PB and they swapped it for another which worked (usual great service I come to know from PB). Attempt #2, set all up - working good but noticed HDMI ARC sound slowly drifts out of sync. Adjusted settings on TV for delay, better but progressively worsens. Switched to AUX, still the subwoofer will randomly thud both in standby and during use - even when there's no reason to do so ie the news is on TV. Took the sub into PB, they serviced and deemed faulty, replacement issued.
Attempt #3, new driver in subwoofer according to repair sheet. Been all ok for a few months, now having the boom recurring. Having to switch the sub off at the wall when not in use to stop it happening.
This isn't just a light shudder, this makes the cats run up the wall from fright it's so loud and heavy.
Tried to contact Philips, email option goes to a broken webpage and they don't seem to answer phone calls... back to PB it will be tomorrow.
PB has been great and they get the gold star only. Would never recommend this to others. Three stars would be 1 star but I don't want to make an account to leave this review.

Amazing bass for its size. It is designed to fit underneath small TV and that is exactly what it is! I bought this on sale and it is literally on par with my Harman and Kardon 1100 soundbar system! Set everything up, seemed to be a good product. Then the Subwoofer stopped working after two days. After looking for reviews on other websites, it looks like this is a common issue with this model.

No amount of resetting or pairing (as per the Philips website) has fixed the issue. The product is just bad. I would not recommend it.

Con - Now have to deal with returning/getting a refund/exchanging the item which is always a hassle. The sale price wasn’t worth the hassle. But it wasn’t quite cheap enough to just bin it.
