This is a replacement boom for my previous one that I sadly lost on a camping trip. That boom was still going strong after five years, and I expect this one will do the same. Excellent product from Ultimate Ears as expected. This speaker has fantastic 360 degree sound that can reliably be used in any environment. For years I had my beats pill and a cute beats ‘character’ holder. The wires were staying to fray after a very hard life so I sought to replace it and found out they do not make them anymore. It looked very likely that the Boom might do the trick and it has. Simple, powerful, quality sound, and sturdy. Plus pleasant to look at. Highly recommended.
