Kobo Libra 2 eReader - 7" Touch Screen HD Display Ink Carta 32GB - White

This is my first e-reader and I'm so glad that I have converted from physical books! I love the white, the functional buttons and the screen is very easy on the eye. It does everything I wanted it to and more, it's even waterproof! I love that it connects with the Auckland libraries to borrow books and save money. I have no complaints after using it for a couple of weeks now and I read a ton of books! The battery life is great and it's very lightweight/portable for traveling. I have had this e-reader for a couple of months now, and it does everything I could possibly want it to. The buttons work very good, and the screen has great contrast. Touchscreen also works very fast (for an e-reader). I honestly can’t think of anything wrong with this product, and overdrive works great as well. Highly recommend! Higher spec'd than the equivalent Kindle model, and it is more open source for books and content (e.g. you can use it to get e-books from the library). Also the screen is much better than older gen readers. Had it about a month and no issues, battery lasts for ages. I have had my paperwhite Kindle for 10 years, but I thought I would try a Kobo as I spend a fortune on books. The size is a lot bigger (wider) but I love the white and the fact that I don’t have to spend as much of a fortune with Amazon. Amazing service from PB Tech. Been using this since the beginning of the year - nearly three four months now!
Easy to use and love that we can borrow ebooks from the Auckland libraries so easily! Saves me money and time, and encourages my reading habits! :D

Best choice of my life! Decided to buy an e-reader as my book selves were too full and I was spending all my money on books haha! Probably could have joined a library but I don’t like leaving the house.

Was a bit worried as I like flipping through the pages but now I can read in the spa and not get soggy pages :D and bonus is that nobody knows what you’re reading :D Best choice of my life! I bought this because I can download library books for free from my local library,
and also I was going on holiday and wanted lighter luggage.
Two things I love about the e-reader,
- it always opens at the page I'm currently reading (unlike a book)
- I can read in the wind and it doesn't blow the pages over.
Another great thing is, it is much lighter than most books and easy to hold.
I like the extra width on one side for better holding - it doesn't matter which
way up you hold it, the page flips, to be always right way up, and the buttons
flip to be the right way up. The bottom button is always the "next page".

When you close the cover (purchased separately) it goes into sleep mode.
Without the case, the on/off button needs a short press to initiate sleep mode.
I recommend buying the case too.
Reading in dull light is not a problem, just adjust the brightness to suit.

I purchased this to replace my kobo aura that I have had for years , it was still working but full as only 4gb. This is a great replacement for the price and a whopping 32gb. This has so many more features check out the kobo website I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Lovely eReader. Got it a month ago. Easy to use and it got me back to more regular reading. Love the fact that I can get the library books online. The dark mode is soft on the eyes when reading at night. Only con is that the photos in recipe books are in black and white only, not coloured. Lovely eReader. Got it a month ago.
