EVGA NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 Ultra Gaming 8GB GDDR6X Graphics Card

It's a beefy card so make sure it fits in your case, It practically takes up 3 pcie slots and blocks everything on my m-atx board so could prevent you from installing other expansion cards. Mine boosts to 1965MHz out of the box but I can easily push that over 2000. RGB is nice and has some headers so you can sync other ARGB or RGB controllers (e.g. Cooler Master) to GPU using the EVGA software. If you idle around 50 C (my cooling setup isn't great) then the fans can start spinning up and stopping repeatedly due to it going in and out of silent mode. bought it on sale a few weeks ago definetely do not regret. This comfortably card runs anything I throw at it on highest settings and 1440p. I went from my 3060 ti to this 3070 ti.

Upgraded from a GTX 1070Ti for use with my Reverb G2. Hitting 90 FPS steady in AAA VR games now and 100+ FPS @1440p. Honestly the performance from the RTX 3000 series cards is amazing.

EVGA X1 Precision tuning software is fantastic - overclocking is easy and the card has numerous thermal sensors for HW monitoring. The fan curves are fully customisable, including separate curves for each individual fan.
My previous card was Gigabyte and I don't think I'll ever go back. The build quality feels a lot higher with EVGA and their software towers over Gigabyte's Aorus Engine and RGB Fusion (which I uninstalled as I hated them).

Seems premium and seems like a solid choice despite tech reviewers being salty - particularly when offset by selling off an older card*.

Card is large and you can certainly hear the fans under full load - it generates a fair amount of heat - which is something to watch for if you case is constricted/full of drives or other cards.

Paired with an R5 5600X - I wanted a well-matched CPU-GPU with minimal bottlenecking.

RGB is useful. Logo/branding is massive and perhaps a bit tacky.

Early days, but hoping for a decent 7 year run from this card; at a minimum.

The range of GPU's and the current pricing (Aug 2021) makes the decision confusing.

I settled on either a used 2080ti or new 3070ti - I am hoping the 3070ti ages well with a long life of driver updates to extend its utility.

It's a great card, though I think we are at that moment of tech era where we need to start calling these graphics bricks.

However I can definitely feel it's pushing more frames out. And for an FPS player like myself, that's something.

Installation was simple and easy, The RGB light bar Looks Amazing and the metals reflects brilliantly. The performance is great and have been able to maintain a stable 2000mhz overclock. Can't rave anymore than possible about the FTW3 3070ti. with EVGA now no longer making nVidia cards this is now a rarity. The boost in performance from my 1070 is phenomenal! I knew full well what a 3070ti would do for my gaming experience when I purchased it, and I am very happy with the results.
