The RTX 3060Ti for this price is not too bad of a card. It does everything you throw at it and performing slightly better than it’s stock reference card. (manufacture overclocked out of the box)

The MSRP in NZD may and could have been around $849-900 NZD per card (Unicorn, Imaginary Prices) If it weren’t for the global shortages and etc.

For what it’s worth It’s essentially like buying the RTX 2080 Super brand new at MSRP and performs like one.

This puts you in the category of either buying the 2080 Super used card from miners or buying a new card like this one from PB Tech.

Overall.. I’m happy with the purchase. The Price overall may have been better if it was within $849-900 NZD.

If you own an RTX 2060, 2070, 2080 Super or TI. Honestly not worth the upgrade with the 30 series.

It’s not PB’s fault for the price hike but definitely understandable with the current state of the global Economy.

Had this card for about 6 weeks.

The OC means factory over clocked. The performance is not quite, but negligibly comparable to the 3080. This is still an expensive card. At the time of writing, this card is the right balance between price and top performance.

In a few months time, perhaps a year away, the 40 series will come into stores. I suspect the PCI slot in my motherboard would not allow a 40 series graphics card to reach its full potential anyway.

I've been gaming for a long time, and always bought the more budget cards. Sure this isn't the best of the best. Surprisingly noticeable boost in performance over not much cheaper gaming models. Definitely would recommend to spend an extra $50-100 to get this card instead of 3060 Gaming OC or 3060 Elite models. Much better than the 2060 models we've got. The difference is abysmal I'd say. What I didn't get is that it comes in the empty box, with no cables or accessories. The card only. Even 2060 we bought came with the installation CD, more "paper", DP and HDMI cables. But this has nothing to do with the card. Probably, just another minimalist Eco packaging trend. Very happy with the service from PB Tech and the performance of my new graphics card. It turned up 24 hours after ordering despite it being during covid lockdown and just plugged it in and worked first time. Thought it would be larger, but its quite small and easily fits in my NZXT H510 flow. For performance, it can tackle anything you throw at it from elden ring to minecraft.
