Good cooling, be aware it’s a long card. A few issues with power connectors, my card the pins on the card weren’t centralised in the socket, meaning the plug wouldn’t go in. Runs nice and cool with a good airflow system and it keeps my frames high and consistent across the board. An incredibly strong card that will last me for years to come, it absolutely blows my old 970 Mobile out of the water. After a month of having it I still can't believe how buttery smooth my games are.

That said, this card, and any 30 series card is only worth upgrading to if your current GPU just doesn't run what you need it to *and* you can comfortably afford to spend double the MSRP of what it's actually worth. Good performance with high fps in just about every game on high/ultra settings. However, it is pretty loud with heavy loads but is expected with a three fan setup. Coming from the 980 Ti from 2015 this is a major upgrade. Certainly the global chip shortage has made prices pretty hairy, but for me this was the right product at the right time.

I would always recommend doing your research on frames per second for whatever games you are planning on playing.

Purchased as an upgrade to enter into the desktop world, only to find the card is screeching and rattling, as well as splattering lubricant/oil all over the bottom of my case.

This started happening within only 2-3 weeks of ownership without any stressful applications. Prior to this the card was performing fine and holding temps below 70c. As soon as the faults occured it was reaching 75c and over, as well as dropping in performance consistently. I used to be all for Gigabyte, but now im wary of their products.
