I've had the Smart Band 6 for some time. The Smart Band 7 is definitely an iterative improvement. The screen is larger and brighter and initially it feels better on my wrist.

The new application is more modern looking. I always appreciated how configurable the Band 6 was and thought I had lost functionality with the 7, but instead it is just smarter and doesn't need as much config to set it up personally. Horrible at tracking steps and fitness, even when connected to my phone with data on it under-tracks by about half the actual distance of a run, uncomfortable on the wrist aswell. It doesn't have all the calling features and in-built GPS, but that's not what I want it for, so I'm happy with the features I'm getting with the price I'm paying. I've owned two of these, each time for one year. That's because both of them fell off my wrist while doing water sports. The buckle does not provide good hold, so if you're planning to use in water, I recommend that you either don't or, instead, buy the next model up with the proper watch buckle. It doesn't have all the calling features and in-built GPS, but that's not what I want it for, so I'm happy with the features I'm getting with the price I'm paying. Another significant issue is the screen quality, my screen cracked due to a soft drop on a carpeted floor.
According to the reviews and feedback out there, it is rather a common issue.

I been using it for around a month, quality is great is fast, small as I wanted, has a great design and tons of ways to customize it.

The only against it, and why I am reducing one star, is that the strap is of poor quality, a silicone that would get dirty very quickly and is dangerous to use as is very easily to detach by accident. Quite happy with this watch I have owned it for a few months now. Measurements are pretty close to spot on haven't found anything that's completely accurate. It's been knocked around quite a lot and still going strong. Only downside is the strap it can come off easily so I'd buy one with the proper clip like and old fashioned watch. I'm loving my watch, I like this brand a lot. I've had this for a month. So easy to use when I need to use it for fitness, checking my PAI, checking my heart rate etc. I like the alerts it gives when I've been stationary for too long. So happy with my purchase.
