CYP Digital Audio Converter Coax to Toss Link.

The Coaxial/Toslink Audio Converter from Cypress Technology accepts S/PDIF audio signal input through either Coaxial cable or Toslink cable and passes the signal (as is) to both it's coaxial and Toslink output ports. With its built-in amplification feature, the Coaxial/Toslink Audio Converter can also serve as a repeater of the audio signal and extend (double) the transferring distance.

Works well

This is my second purchase. I bought these to connect my smart tvs (which only have toslink outputs) to my old home theatre systems (which only have coaxial inputs). Easy to setup; just plug in the cables, turn the switch to select the input format, and it all worked. Both of the units are working fine (I've had the first one for over a year now).

I connect the optical audio S/PDIF output from my motherboard to the input of this coaxial/toslink converter, and then connect from the coaxial output of this converter to the DAC of my HiFi component. I use the foresaid connection to hear classical music from YouTube. The sound quality is very good. This coaxial/toslink converter does a very good job in converting optical signal to coaxial electrical signal.

Perfect for a cheap 4K TV that doesn't have optical out.

I needed one of these years ago

So glad to have bought one, felt like a steal too!
Great unit, small, light, input digital via either coax or toslink (has a switch on the unit). This unit outputs both at once, in case you have an older amp and a soundbar, this makes perfect sense - as it did for me. Really enjoy the simplicity and central hub (without the wires)!
Only thing could be better would be a sticky gel base or pads. Small discrete unit, with power cable and it just works!
A delight to use, best purchase in years!

Audio converter

Explained the situation with my jvc tv and bose sound bar to a sales guy in the pb tech Wellington. He listened to me patiently and suggested this product would help. He explained how it works, so I was convinced, bought the product. The connection was simple.
Works perfect!!

7 day right of exchange

If you change your mind after making a purchase, or realise you have ordered the incorrect item, you can enjoy the peace of mind that we offer a 7 day exchange policy.

To exchange a product, goods must be sealed / unopened, with packaging in original condition, and accompanied by a valid receipt dated no more than 7 calendar days from when you request an exchange.

If there is not a suitable product that can be exchanged for your returned item you will be offered a credit on your account or gift card based on the value paid at the time of purchase.
