bought 4 of these for the company and we've been using it to charge iPad. No issues and charges things relatively quickly. This charger is fine. Yes, it does make a slight whine, but it's just the transformer, nothing to worry about. The specs say both ports are 2.1A, but I haven't been able to verify that myself, and that can potentially be interpreted both ways.
