Perfect for a speedy transfer

Long story, slightly short.

I swapped my original WD 1TB platter drive out of my 27" iMac and replaced it with an SSD to give the old girl a new lease of life a couple of weeks ago. This adaptor made it SUPER simple.

I hooked it up to the new SSD, wrote the OS to it using my MacBook Pro (USB 3.1 helps here), and it was really quick and worked perfectly. Booted through the adaptor to double check and it was perfect. Pulled apart the iMac, swapped the old for the new, booted it up and it worked first time.
